Join us for a seven artist exhibit curated by Rachel Koper and Win Wallace and named by Tim Kerr. Each artist brings their voice and style to figurative art. These dreamy works share the amplification of both the subject's spirit and the artist's personality.
Tim Kerr taps music icons and historical quotes alongside his unique pallet. His skateboard paintings contain messages that jump off the wall.
Win Wallace uses conte and charcoal to draw elaborately dressed and masked figures with their animal entourage. These images are pretty and seem to contain rituals and so they act as curious mysteries.
Niz's aerosol paintings incorporate bright colors, flowers, outfits and animals that harmonize and glow. She celebrates strong characters and vibrant women.
Jeff Wheeler mixes words and figures and his pop art sensibility to create optimistic paintings and collages.
Jeremy Burks realistically paints kids engaging in hunting or war games. They carry the threat of violence, albeit a charming youthful one.
Beadwork of magical creatures resembling body parts by Gayla Partridge adds a sculptural element to the show.
After a quiet year, these artists are ready to talk irl and with their recent expressive portraits.
Drop in during gallery hours (M-F 11-6pm, S-S 12-5pm) or schedule your visit online.
